Reading thermometers

 Watch the video on reading thermometers.  If you have a thermometer in your house, experiment with it.  Put the thermometer in cold water, then warm it up...watch the mercury rise!

Intergers

 What is an integer?  An integer is a positive or negative whole number.  Integers do not include decimals or fractions.  The most common thing in our area we use negative integers for is the temperature.  In the winter time the temperature in Saskatchewan can get as cold as -40°C.  In the summer the temperature can get as warm as 30°C.  Watch the video below to learn more about integers.
